Five Things You Didnt Know about Karen Gravano
Because a television show about Mob Wives is what we all need in our lives. In fact, the show Mob Wives, starring women from several notorious crime families is a big VH1 hit, and people love it. Karen Gravano, one of the stars of the show, is the daughter of famed mobster Salvatore “Sammy the Bull” Gravano. He’s the man who became an FBI witness to help take down crime boss John Gotti. He was one of the highest ranked members of the Gambino crime family, and he was also the man with the highest rank to ever break his mobster oath. Looking back at this kind of story makes you wonder how the women from the Gravano and Gotti families can even exist near one another – and certainly not out of love. Karen Gravano has a shady past, has been known to be part of a drug ring, and she’s someone you probably don’t want to mess with. And we have a few other things you don’t know about her.
Former Exes
Karen Gravano was once involved with Drita D’Avanzo’s husband. She and Lee D’Avanzo were together for seven years at one point in their lives. She and the other Mob Wife have that connection, as well as several family connections in their lives.
She’s How Old?
She’s not technically a wife, but she is a mob daughter who has been in relationships with mob men. Something many wonder about Karen Gravano is her age. She was born in 1977, in April, and will soon celebrate her 38th birthday. She’s led a long life for someone who is actually quite young.
Net Worth
Karen Gravano might come from a family of mobsters, but she is not all that wealthy. In fact, she’s only worth an estimated $400,000. Though we would hazard a guess as to the fact she’s probably worth a lot more than that and people just don’t know it. She is a mob girl, after all.
She’s Not Afraid
If there is one thing we can say about Gravano, it’s that she’s not at all afraid to spill secrets and tell what she knows. She might not be an FBI witness like her father, but she’s got things to share when it suits her best.
She’s Not Overly Friendly with Other Wives
It seems that Gravano is not a big fan of most of the other women on her reality show, and it has a lot to do with long-past feuds that stem from hits, deaths, murders, drugs and betrayal from the families to which they belong. It’s just one of those things; hatred passed from generation to generation.
