Jameson Irish Whiskeys New Bomber is Perfect for All Your St. Patricks Day Endeavors Celeb
With the Sunday scaries looming over our heads this St. Patrick’s Day, Jameson Irish Whiskey created a new holiday to celebrate the Irish… and drink your favorite alcoholic beverage of course.
Since Leap Year almost ruined everything, the premium whiskey brand has officially declared Saturday, March 16th St. Patrick’s Day Eve, as the world has patiently waited since 2018 for SPD to again fall on a Saturday. The very made-up (but very official) new holiday is the only way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this year, and wearing the brand’s limited-edition satin bomber will have you turning heads in every pub you visit this weekend.
The vintage-inspired, stylish design — which is available for purchase beginning today (March 12) — includes a hidden pocket inside the jacket to perfectly hold a Jameson hip flask that comes with the order, as well as luxe patches signature to the iconic Irish Whiskey brand. Retailing for $150 plus tax with free shipping in the continental US, only 50-jacket drops will be available today and all proceeds will benefit the Restaurant Workers’ Community Fund (RWCF), a nonprofit dedicated to advocating for food and beverage service industry workers, continuing the brand’s long-standing partnership with the organization to support its bartending community.
In addition, Jameson Irish Whiskey will be hosting a special St. Patrick’s Day Eve event in Times Square on the 16th, hosted by SNL comedians Colin Jost and Michael Che. The event will feature a surprise DJ performance and a can’t-miss, first-of-its-kind ‘rock drop’ – a Jameson version of the famous Times Square ball drop – at 8 p.m. ET (aka midnight in Ireland) to mark the occasion.
