Max Charles is an American actor. He is known for his roles in the film The Amazing Spider-Man and on the series The Neighbors and The Strain, and for many voice-over performances.
He is the brother of actors Logan Charles, Mason Charles, and Brock Charles.
Max’s maternal grandfather was Michael Longo (the son of Bartolo James “Bart” Longo and Anne/Anna Mae/May Kenney). Bartolo was the son of Italian/Sicilian parents, Michael Longo and Frances. Anne was the daughter of Charles David Kenney and Mary E. Francisco.
Max’s maternal grandmother was Helen Strong (the daughter of Asher Brashear Strong and Ethel Mae Wise). Asher was the son of Walter Charles “C.H.” Strong and Margaret Elizabeth “Maggie” Landrum. Ethel was the daughter of William P. Wise and Susan Amburgy. Through Walter, Max has near 1/256th Cherokee Native American ancestry, as a descendant of Mahala Susan “Sukey” Brock, the daughter of Aaron Totsu’hwa “Chief Red Bird” Brock and Susannah Caroline Sizemore.
