Robert Rusler is an American actor. He is known for his roles in the 1980s teen movies Weird Science, A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge, Vamp, Thrashin’, and Shag, in the made-for-tv movie Stephen King’s Sometimes They Come Back, in the later films Amityville: A New Generation and Tales of Halloween, and on the shows The Outsiders, Babylon 5, and Light as a Feather.
He was raised partly in Waikiki Beach, Hawaii, where he was a semi-professional surfer and skateboarder, and then in Los Angeles, California.
Robert’s paternal grandfather was Charles E. Rusler (the son of Thomas James Rusler and Libby/Libbie/Elizabeth N. Eiche). Charles was born in Indiana.
Robert’s paternal grandmother was Marion E. Chubbuck (the daughter of Walter H./W. Chubbuck and Grace M. Cleveland). Marion was born in New Hampshire. Walter was the son of Daniel L. Chubbuck and Emma Stackpole. Grace was the daughter of Alvin A. Cleveland and Mary Stone.
