Willis posted on Instagram about her struggles with her mental health, particularly body dysmorphia, from growing up in the public eye. (Her parents are Demi Moore and Bruce Willis.) However, Willis says that she has started to practice self-love. "I resented the resemblance as I believed wholly my 'masculine' face was the sole reason for my unlovability – FALSE! I was/am inherently valuable and worthy, at any life stage, at any size, with anyhair [sic] do! (As are you)," she wrote.

Willis revealed on Instagram that she makes plans to enact when she isn't feeling all that great and her mental state isn't as good. One of these plans is writing her thoughts down. She says, "Write. Word vomit EVERYTHING that is gurgling within your mind onto a piece of paper and then tear it up or burn it. Let it flow out of you and no longer take up the precious space in your mind."

Willis makes sure to take care of her skin, especially after she revealed that she used to be a skin-picker. Willis says that her skin care is a way of helping with her mental health, writing on Instagram, "Take a bath and smear body oil/ lotion all over your tender skin. My favorite is @tataharperskincare but I also love @goldbond diabetic dry skin relief lotion."  "I don't think I've ever used this many emojis or felt so motivated to brag — but I am truly forkin proud," Willis wrote about her skin journey on Instagram

Willis has been in the public eye all her life, due to her parents being A-List actors. Unfortunately, this has led to the media criticizing her immensely. However, Willis said on Instagram that she steps away from social media when her mental health isn't great. She says, "Breaks from social media. I scroll 9GAG to disassociate instead." There is one thing that she does love on social media, writing, "Memes are there to help!"

Willis isn't afraid to admit when she needs help with her mental health. She also went through a public stint in rehab in 2014, and didn't care who knew about it. In fact, she revealed that a lot of people praised her for her honesty.  "I would get emails from people expressing their gratitude for my honesty and saying that it inspired them," she says to Allure. "That was very encouraging. This was bigger than me. It wasn't about drugs or drinking. That was the first step of clearing the top layer to get to the real things you work on. I just had to stop all of that and the real work began." Willis also says that she always tries to talk to someone when her mental health isn't great. She writes on Instagram, "Find a safe person, circle, community who you can vocalize the triggering moment/current obsession/spiral."
